String Update - Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalts vs. Pyramid Nickel Classics

A subscriber told me he liked the new Ernie Ball Cobalts so I thought I would try them out. At first I did not like them but they grow on you. They feel good, they stay in tune, and they put out more volume than a regular string due to the iron/cobalt alloy. You can hear the extra output when you push the string to touch the pickup magnet. They are more expensive than regular strings at $9/set but that is less than the $14/set I have been paying for the Pyramids so they will save me money. I may end up putting them on all of my guitars. It is good to have several options. I recommend trying a set.
